Meet the Artists
My thanks to these artists who contributed to this website. Although I would have been honored to have represented any one of them, none of them were represented by me. The links below to the artists' online stores are entirely their own. Please support prison artists.

Juan Guardado
Juan, born and raised in Fresno, California, was deeply influenced by his mother and grandmother, who taught him the importance of hard work and wisdom.
With a focus on education and a healthy lifestyle, Juan finds daily motivation in his two children, a 19-year-old son, and an 18-year-old daughter. In 2020, he earned an arts certification in Kern County, exploring various mediums like oils, inks, and acrylics. His dream is to open an art studio where he can teach both art and philosophy, aiming to steer youth away from drugs and street life. Despite the challenges, Juan is driven by the goal of shaping a brighter future for our youth.

Samuel Garcia
Samuel was born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles California. He first started drawing at the age of 13 when his cousin gave him unfinished drawings that he drew while locked up. Samuel then rediscovered his passion for drawing in 2007 while in the SHU at Pelican Bay state Prison.
He found it to be one of the most authentic ways of saying thank you to his friends and family who has supported him throughout this journey he is on. Samuel strives to continue challenging himself, by taking on different mediums, and learning new techniques to explore the world of drawing and painting.
